School morning rituals:
0600ish Girls wake me up. "Just a few more minutes, I say. Go play in your room."
I finally peel myself out of bed, rub my eyes, and muster up some energy.
Down on my knees.
Lola/Bella feed the pup.
Make girls breakfast. Something healthy that will fill them up for a while. (This morning I veered from healthy and gave them yummy orange pound cake.)
Everyone get dressed! This usually involves some sort of drama. This is something I've had to work on. Pick my battles. Spaghetti straps in November? I'm trying to let them choose and learn about consequences, but you've got to draw the line somewhere.
Brush. Brush hair, brush teeth.
Pack bags.
Lucy out.
Off to school.
Finally our morning prayer. Usually said in the car, but we say it.
Kisses, hugs and make good choices.
