on monday i found myself wishing time would stop or that my memory would somehow hold onto the moment forever. sounds cheesy, but my kids are growing too darn fast. and so cheese i must be.

we spent the afternoon at a pumpkin patch close to home. it was a beautiful property with animals and hay rides and corn mazes. there was hardly anyone there, so after all the festivities we just lounged around for a few hours in the hammocks.
the weather was perfect. my kids were angels. and the llama didn't spit at us. do llamas really spit? or is that camels?
anyhow.  i've been reading this book lately and part of it talks about how we over-sanitize everything, even our food, and that it isn't good for our immune systems. interesting.
it's good to dig in the dirt, walk around outside without shoes on and soak up some vitamin D.  and maybe even feed a llama or two (the book didn't say that part. i did).
