The Short Story of Two Girls and Four Polliwogs

Once a little girl found four polliwogs in a puddle. She was very concerned about the little swimmers because puddles dry up when it gets hot outside. So off she and her sister went on a quest to find them the perfect home.

They searched far and wide climbing and trudging through the mud in their best sandals. Although they were worn out from all of the trudging and obvious bravery when walking across a very narrow path over the rushing water, they found the tadpoles the perfect home...

...a drainage ditch.

The little girl who found the little creatures was very relieved because now the tadpoles were happy, far away from puddles that dry up in the sun. Her little sister was just happy to have been able to come along for the adventure (and get a bit muddy in the process).
