the gold of friendship

This weekend was great. We have been blessed with some glorious weather lately, and we took full advantage. Bike rides, walks, bbq's. On Sunday we had dinner with a friend of mine, her husband and their two darling daughters. She is a treasure to me, this friend. We have been friends since we were in high school. When we get together it's like we've never been apart, and it reminds me that I've missed her. The best part of our visit with them was the impromptu "show" the girls put on for us.
